Privacy Policy

Our Approach

RunDida is designed with privacy as a core principle. All 98 running calculators process data entirely in your browser. Your inputs (pace, heart rate, weight, training history) are never sent to our servers.

Data We Do Not Collect

• No personal account — no name, email, or signup required to use any tool
• No calculation data on our servers — pace, heart rate, weight, and other inputs stay in your browser
• No selling of user data — we do not sell, rent, or share user data with data brokers

Cookies and Ads

RunDida uses Google AdSense to display ads, which keeps the site free for everyone. AdSense may set cookies in your browser to show personalized ads. You can:

• Opt out of personalized ads at Google Ad Settings
• Read Google's ad cookie practices at policies.google.com/technologies/ads
• Block all cookies via your browser settings (the calculators will still work)

Local Storage

Some tools optionally save your preferences (like unit system or recent calculations) using your browser's localStorage. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not accessible to RunDida or any third party
• Can be cleared at any time through your browser settings

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools are most popular and how to improve the platform. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized — we cannot identify individual users from this data. Google Analytics 4 does not retain IP addresses; IPs are used only for geo-lookup at ingestion and then discarded.

Third-Party Services We Use

The following third-party services are integrated into RunDida. Their data practices are governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google AdSense — display advertising. Privacy policy
• Google Analytics — anonymized traffic analysis. Privacy policy
• Google Search Console — SEO data. Same privacy policy as above.
• OpenWeatherMap — weather data for marathon countdown and weather-related tools. Only your approximate location (city level) is shared when you opt in.
• Affiliate networks — we may use providers such as Awin, Impact, Avelon, Booking.com, and Amazon Associates. When you click an affiliate link, the destination network may set cookies to track the referral. We mark all affiliate links with rel="sponsored".
• Moonshot Kimi & MiniMax (LLM providers) — used only when you submit a prompt to the AI Plan Generator. See the dedicated section below for details.

AI Training Plan Generator (optional feature)

When you use the AI Plan Generator, your text prompt is sent to third-party LLM providers based in China — Moonshot Kimi and MiniMax — for intent extraction (parsing structured parameters from your prompt). The LLM does not generate the training plan itself; the actual plan is computed by RunDida's own logic. We do not store your raw prompt.

If you don't use this feature, no input data leaves your browser. Our 6 template training plans work entirely client-side without AI.

Embeddable Widgets

Our embeddable calculators follow the same privacy principles. When embedded on third-party websites, the calculator runs in an iframe and does not share data between the host site and RunDida.

API Access

Our public API serves static JSON data. API requests are logged for rate-limiting purposes only. No personal data is required to use the API.

Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you are in the European Economic Area or California, you have the right to:

• Request what personal data we hold (we hold very little — see "Data We Do Not Collect")
• Request deletion of any data we may have inadvertently stored
• Opt out of personalized advertising (see "Cookies and Ads" above)
